Tamworth Writers

We meet every Wednesday 2 - 4pm in the Town Hall, Tamworth, Staffs.
We have Authors, Poets, Editors and Publishers giving workshops at regular intervals. Most weeks we read and comment on our ongoing work-in-progress. So far, in three years, we have self-published 5 anthologies of members work.
We only charge a pound toward funding speakers and 10p for tea/coffee and biscuits.
New members and visitors are always welcome.

D.A.W.N.

The Developing Amateur Writers Network (D.A.W.N.) are small writers groups based in East Berkshire (Langley, Slough and Windsor).
The groups meet once a week during academic term time.   Participants are free to work on their own individual projects with support from the facilitator and each other. Others may chose to take part in prepared tutorials and exercises.   Everyone is welcome.  No previous experience of, or attempts at writing are necessary.
